The Adolescent Mother star took to Instagram on Saturday to praise his and Golden Portwood’s little girl, Leah, on her fourteenth birthday celebration.

The pleased father shared some photographs of Leah doing senseless stances with him and her younger sibling Emilee, 6, whom Gary imparts to spouse Kristina Shirley.

(Not imagined was Kristina, who would have rather not been in the entertaining shots, Gary kidded.)

“Wishing my extremely magnificent girl Leah Shirley an exceptionally cheerful birthday,” he wrote in the subtitle, considering Leah a “extremely brilliant young woman.”

“I was unable to request a superior youngster,” he finished up. “I love you Leah so definitely.”

Last month, the high schooler was found in an episode of Youngster Mother: The Following Section in a plunk down with her father as he made sense of an adjudicator decided that Portwood’s 4-year-old child James Andrew could move to California with his dad, Portwood’s ex Andrew Glennon.

“Andrew’s permitted to take James to California,” Gary told Leah. “I’m expecting that will occur.”

“It’s truly unjustifiable,” Leah said accordingly. “My mother and James, they truly have a decent relationship.

Like something I didn’t have with her yet it’s out of line since every last bit of her work that she’s gone through to try and be here currently, is that for nothing?” “It’s not for nothing, but rather it can seem that way,” Gary said, approving Leah’s disappointment with the present circumstance.

In a Youngster Mother: Family Gathering cut from recently, Portwood said she didn’t feel like a “great mother” in light of her rough relationship with Leah.

“In some cases I don’t feel like I am a mother,” Golden said at that point. “I let my outrage sort of assume control over my life.

I simply was certainly not a decent mother. I wasn’t there for my girl when she really wanted me and I was a junkie and in prison for battling.”

Asked by Dr. Cheyenne Bryant — a holistic mentor and brain science master — “what moves” she’s made to become a decent mother, Golden said: “I’ve in a real sense attempted to simply continue to show up for my girl and show up for my child however much I can.”
